REQUIREMENTS: 
 • Active CA license
 • BLS

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 • Provide occupational therapy treatments, conduct thorough assessments, and customize care plans to address each individual's unique needs.
 • Provide treatment and consultation in the areas of motor function and development, activities of daily living, oral-motor dysfunction and dysphagia.
 • Assess the need for adaptive equipment, seating and positioning systems and therapy intervention as needed.
 • Maintain accurate records on treatments and procedures.
 • Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
 • Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members. 
 • Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures while delivering optimal patient care. 
 • Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
 • Any other duties as assigned.
