REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
* Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred/required
* Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
* Ability to work in fast-paced operating room environments
* Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
* BLS certification may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Prepare operating rooms and arrange surgical instruments
* Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
* Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies
* Anticipate surgeon needs during operations
* Count instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after surgery
* Prepare patients for surgery and assist with positioning
* Handle specimens according to policy
* Clean and restock operating rooms post-procedure
