Radiologic Technologist

Adelphi is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide services at a facility in Welch, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general radiographs, portable exams, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, mammography, and C.A.T. scans, providing comprehensive services within the facility's in-house radiology department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Radiologic Technology

• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Card (CPR)

PREFERRED:

• Applicants who are American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry eligible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general radiographs, portable exams,fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, mammography, and C.A.T. scans which includes administering oral and IV contrast.

• Follow regulated methods and procedures in order to achieve high quality radiographs and to ensure the safety of the patient.

• Complete timely documentation into patient’s electronic medical records and PACS.

• Perform clerical duties including registering patients, scanning forms into PACS, sending exams from the Computerized Reader (CR), and checking exams sent to PACS.

• Transport patients as needed to and from the emergency department, medical-surgical unit and intensive care unit.

• Follow policies and procedures as well as radiology orientation pack which will be provided during hospital/facility orientation.

• Any other duties as assigned.
