Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

JOB SUMMARY (LIST FORMAT):

- Work on a high acuity surgical trauma floor
- Care for patients with spinal/neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
- Must be able to work assigned shifts (no block schedules)
- No time off (RTO) allowed during assignment
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record required
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- Support staff includes nursing techs, phlebotomists, and a night unit secretary
- ED nurse and admitting unit complete a nurse handoff for new admissions
