The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, including a 17-bed emergency department and a range of outpatient services. Franklin is nestled in the scenic mountains of western North Carolina, about 70 miles southwest of Asheville. The area is known for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a popular destination for hiking and outdoor recreation. Enjoy the NC mountains, while keeping within only a couple of hours drive from Asheville, Atlanta, and Chattanooga. You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience, and current ACLS and BLS certification. Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the ability to float between units are recommended.
