Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories, utilizing physiology knowledge and medical terminology.
Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Manage complex care needs such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, memory care, hospice care, and acute pain management.
Operate medical equipment including ventilators, IV insertion devices, catheters, and medical imaging tools while maintaining aseptic technique.
Document patient care accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
Perform specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, suturing, and wound care using sterile techniques.
Collaborate with physicians and specialists in emergency medicine, ICU settings, Level I/II trauma centers, or pediatric units for urgent assessments and interventions.
- Experience: 2 years as an LVN with 1 year in OBGYN
- CA LVN
- Certs: BLS (AHA or ARC only), IV & Blood withdrawal
- Special Requirements: Experience with the following OBGYN procedures required: PAP, Coplo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon, and NST
