REQUIREMENTS:

* Active RN license
* Graduate of accredited nursing program
* BLS required; PALS preferred
* Previous pediatric or acute care experience preferred
* Strong assessment, communication, and family-centered care skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting
* Perform age-appropriate assessments and monitor patient status
* Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
* Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
* Respond to changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions
* Document care accurately in the EMR
