RN Nurse Manager

River Ridge Living Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure the highest standard of care for residents. The Nurse Manager will lead and support nursing staff, promote a collaborative environment, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Oversee daily clinical operations and resident care delivery
• Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations and facility policies
• Coordinate care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling as needed
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper medical recordkeeping
• Support quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols

Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (required)
• Previous experience in a supervisory or nurse management role preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
