Flexible PRN RN Shifts Available in Sulphur Radiology!

We are seeking a competent Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our clinical team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will practice independently, providing routine and complex care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will manage clinical contingencies and coordinate with the radiology team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation).

Administer medications and treatments via established protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.

Document patient history, symptoms, and procedural data accurately in the clinical record.

Address psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.

Provide specialized education to patients and caregivers regarding post-procedure care.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: 1+ year of experience in a related nursing specialty (IR, Critical Care, or ER) preferred.

License: Current RN License (Louisiana or Compact state).

Certifications:

BLS: Required at time of hire (AHA or Red Cross).

Skills: Ability to practice independently and manage complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment.
