Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory therapy plans
Administer medications and therapies (aerosol, oxygen, bronchial hygiene, etc.)
Manage ventilators, airway procedures (intubation/extubation), and weaning
Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
Educate patients, families, and mentor new staff
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics

Basic computer and documentation skills

Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
RRT (NBRC) Certification – Required
Active RCP License – Required
BLS & ACLS – Required
PALS & NRP – Preferred (or within 180 days)
Minimum 6 months critical care experience (0–2 years total experience acceptable)
Experience in Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics preferred
