Radiology / Cardiology - Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Assignment Length: 8 Weeks (option for 6–8 week contracts)
Shift: Day, 5x8‑Hour (07:45 AM – 4:30 PM)
Responsibilities:

Perform vascular imaging and diagnostic procedures

Support patients with vein problems, dialysis, and port placements

Conduct specialized tests including mesenteric, AIC, CDUS, AAA, ABI

Record studies in Picom imaging software using Phillips equipment

Document care in Epic

Schedule & Expectations:

Ratios: 1:5, average daily census 6–9 patients

Orientation: 24 hours (non‑billable)

No call, float, or weekend coverage required

RTO: Not allowed after booking

Scrubs: Blue, grey, or black

Facility Details:

Outpatient vascular practice within acute care setting

Located in Bluffton, SC

Patient population: Adults and geriatrics

Daily census: ~9 patients, 1 room, 1 bed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience

Traveler experience required

Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS

Skills required:

General ultrasound

Abdominal aorta, renal/bladder

Arterial graft studies, arterial mapping

Carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts

Doppler studies, duplex

Lower/upper extremity arterial & venous

M‑Mode, peripheral vascular resistance

Renal artery duplex, stents, transcranial doppler

Vascular experience with adult/geriatric patients
