REQUIREMENTS:

* Valid and active Registered Nurse State license
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.
* Previous nursing leadership experience, preferably in a Director of Nursing role.
* BLS certification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide effective guidance, creating a collaborative and positive work atmosphere for nursing personnel.
* Manage and coordinate patient care, upholding established protocols and ensuring top-quality service.
* Recruit, train, and oversee nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
* Ensure quality assurance by maintaining regulatory compliance, infection control, and patient safety.
* Create and implement educational programs and training to enhance nursing staff skills and knowledge.
* Efficiently manage the nursing department budget, optimizing resources without compromising care quality.
* Ensure nursing staff complies with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
* Champion patients' needs, addressing concerns to promote patient-centered care.
* Collaborate with quality improvement teams to pinpoint trends and areas for patient care enhancement.
* Maintain precise and timely records of patient care, assessments, and departmental activities.
* Contribute to strategic plans and initiatives aimed at improving nursing services.
