Pay Details:
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $65
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,340.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $ 27.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $972
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,368
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,520
Job Description:
• RN Med-Surg Job Description
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions ranging from simple to complex in a hospital setting. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care while monitoring patient progress and responding to changing conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff and coordinate patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety standards
Requirements:
• Must have Med-Surg/Step Down experience; ICU experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Must have Med-Surg/Step Down experience; ICU experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
