Flexible Day and Night Shifts for Med-Surg RNs!

Workforce Management is seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses for flexible PRN opportunities at hospital locations in the Toledo, Ohio area.

Pay: $40–$43 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: PRN—day and night shifts may be available
Location: Toledo-area hospital facilities

Position Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
Complete patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments.
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition.
Provide wound care and preoperative and postoperative nursing care.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license.
At least one year of recent acute-care Medical-Surgical RN experience; two years preferred.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
ACLS certification may be required depending on the unit.
Strong assessment, medication-administration, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Ability to complete all required credentialing, background checks, health screenings, orientation, and facility training.
Candidates must live within 60 miles of the assigned facility.
Former ProMedica employees must have at least one year of separation to be eligible.
