Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions, developing individualized care plans, and providing high-quality patient care across multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Utilize various physiotherapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Provide patient education on exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning for patients.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
Provide care across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals requiring acute care.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
Experience
Proven experience in a clinical setting with a focus on outpatient or inpatient care is preferred.
Familiarity with home & community care practices is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment.
Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and patient management is required.

Valid PT license or eligibility in Maryland.
