Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform a wide range of nursing care procedures for patients across the lifespan.
Independently complete clinical assignments and make sound nursing decisions during shifts.
Evaluate, prioritize, and deliver care based on patient acuity and clinical need.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions thoroughly and accurately.
Implement safe and therapeutic nursing practices aligned with SEARHC standards.
Administer age‑appropriate medications and demonstrate proper equipment usage.
Manage and supervise CNAs and technicians as appropriate.
Communicate and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide patient education regarding tests, procedures, and health conditions.
Identify patient problems, develop action plans, and contribute to care planning.
Licensure & Education
Current, full, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or another U.S. state.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience
One year of RN experience preferred.
Prior experience in Emergency Nursing or related specialty preferred.

Certifications
BLS – required at hire
ACLS – must be obtained within 6 months
PALS – must be obtained within 6 months
TNCC – required for ED nurses
