Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Geriatric Day Program

We’re seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to participants at our Adult Day Health Center in Albuquerque, NM.

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of the geriatric population you serve.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Follow individualized care plans and document all care provided per policy and regulations
Assist participants with restorative and supportive care such as ambulating, positioning, and transferring
Take and record vital signs, monitor skin integrity, and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support meal service and feeding assistance while ensuring participant safety and comfort
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality participant care
Serve as a bus attendant, assisting participants during transport to and from the center or appointments
Participate in group and one-on-one activities, fostering social engagement and independence
Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable healthcare standards
Attend required training, in-service, and continuing education programs

Requirements

Active New Mexico CNA License
Current BLS and First Aid Certification
Previous CNA experience working with the geriatric population
Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented personality
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
