Travel RN PCU PVSU/IMC Unit job at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital’s Progressive Ventilator Stepdown Unit (PVSU) is a specialized 16 bed step-down unit for vented and trach patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. You will care for patients requiring tracheostomy, mechanical ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), prolonged weaning, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), and feeding pumps. Most patients are transferred from the intensive care unit and require advanced respiratory and critical care skills. You must have a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience within the last 3 years and be comfortable with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
