Duties / Responsibilities
(1) Provide compassionate personal care
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, eating mobility
While promoting dignity comfort and independence
(2) Ensure safety and supervision - monitor for wandering falls confusion and other safety risks. maintain a calm structured environment and promptly report any changes in condition to the nurse
(3) Support communication and emotional well being. Use patience, reassurance and simple clear communication to reduce anxiety, encourage engagement in meaningful activities. Build trust with the client and family.

Requirements / Qualifications
(1) Current NAC license in accordance with Washington state regulations.
(2) Understand dementia related behaviors, effective communication techniques, person centered care, and strategies for managing confusion, agitation and memory loss.
(3) Strong interpersonal and observations skills. Demonstrate patience compassion reliability and the ability to recognize and report changes in physical condition, cognition or behavior promptly.
(4) Current CPR / First Aid
