Join Our Team as a Pediatric ICU Nurse Today!

We are seeking a competent Pediatric ICU Nurse to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will practice independently, providing routine and complex care for critically ill pediatric patients. You will manage clinical contingencies and delegate tasks to ensure the highest level of patient safety and department efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to provide care for pediatric patients.

Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.

Administer medications and treatments via established protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.

Document patient history, symptoms, and care given accurately in the clinical record.

Assess learning needs and provide specialized education to family members and caregivers.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: 1+ year of experience in a Pediatric or Critical Care setting preferred; however, new graduates are accepted.

License: Current RN License (Texas or Compact state).

Certifications: * BLS: Required at time of hire (AHA or Red Cross).

PALS: Required (Grace period: 30 days for experienced; 90 days for new grads).

Onboarding: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
