Job Title:  Travel Radiologic Technologist (Allied)
Location: Atlanta, GA :: Cumming, GA, :: Canton, GA :: Duluth, GA, Alpharetta, GA :: Lawrenceville, GA
Job Type: [Contract : 13 weeks]

Operating Imaging Equipment: Use advanced technology such as X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines to capture detailed images of bones, tissues, and organs.
Patient Care & Safety:
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and answer their questions.
Position patients and equipment precisely to obtain high-quality diagnostic views.
Follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, using lead shields and adjusting exposure factors to minimize radiation for patients and staff.
Image Evaluation: Critically assess the technical quality of captured images (density, detail, contrast) before sending them to a radiologist for interpretation.
Clinical Collaboration: Review physician orders, document patient medical history, and work with the healthcare team to determine if additional imaging is needed.
Maintenance: Calibrate, troubleshoot, and ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of imaging equipment and examination rooms. 

Education: Associate's degree in radiologic technology or Bachelor's degree.
Certification: National certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 
Licensure: Valid state license
Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
Required AHA BLS.
