Nurse Educator

The RN Nurse Educator is responsible for staff education, clinical training, and competency validation in a long-term care facility. This role supports the facility in providing high-quality resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting ongoing professional development for nursing staff.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff
• Conduct skills training, competency assessments, and return demonstrations
• Educate staff on clinical best practices, infection prevention, and safety
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness
• Maintain education and competency records
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff

Qualifications
• Active RN license for NYS
• 2+ years nursing experience; long-term care preferred
• Experience in staff education or training preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• C.N.A. Instructor
