Preparing and updating patient’s medical records
Ensuring that the lab, examination rooms, tools, and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
Preparing and performing patients for ultrasound examinations, including Renal Artery Duplex, Venous, Arterial, Cartoid, Aorta lilac, ABI/PVRs and Upper/Lower Vein Mapping
Operating and maintaining ultrasound and plethysmography equipment
Generating analytical reports and documentation from sonogram results.
Assisting physicians with reviewing and interpreting ultrasounds images.
Communicating and explaining sonography examinations and results to patients.
Performing administrative tasks such as managing patient schedules and filing diagnostic reports.
Bachelor’s degree or Accredited certification in vascular technology, sonography, or similar program.
Relevant ARDNS or CCI credential such as registered vascular technologist (RVT)
Basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification is preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a vascular sonographer
Excellent knowledge of sonography technology such as plethysmographs and ultrasound equipment
Familiarity with patient medical software such as EPIC, ISCV.
Excellent diagnostic and interpretive abilities
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to provide an excellent level of patient care and work independently
