JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: NCCPA certification required
* Licenses: Active Ohio PA license, DEA with Ohio address
* DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address, schedules II-V required
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Experience: Minimum 100 patients in past 12 months or recent program completion
* Other Qualifications: Flu vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B immunity, TB screening, background screening, professional liability verification, orientation and EMR training

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide comprehensive hospital medicine care under supervision of a privileged supervising physician.
* Manage daily patient census including admissions, discharges, and ongoing care.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and specialists.
* Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
* Document patient encounters in Paragon EMR and comply with hospital policies.
