Job Description

Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing for a 13-week contract opportunity in Duluth, Georgia.

The Med-Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, coordinating treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

This is a fast-paced acute surgical unit with frequent patient admissions and discharges. Nurses must be comfortable managing changing patient needs, prioritizing care, and supporting efficient patient flow.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.

Active RN license valid for practice in Georgia.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.

ACLS certification preferred.

Cerner experience required.

Previous travel nursing experience required.

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Travel candidates only; candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.

Must be available to work required holidays.
