JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Board Certified: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (for physicians); for NP: ACNP, PA, or FNP with hospitalist experience
* Licenses: Active Michigan License, MI DEA, and Controlled Substance license
* DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
* Experience: Hospitalist experience required for FNP candidates
* Other Qualifications: Must have actual state license and MI DEA and CS in hand, must be board certified

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide comprehensive hospitalist care for adult and pediatric patients in a Med/Peds model
* Manage high acuity patients in the step-down unit
* Participate in rapid response and code teams
* Perform admissions, discharges, and rounding during swing shift (3P–3A)
* Collaborate with specialty teams for optimal patient care
