Travel Surgical Technologist Operating Room jobs in Boise, ID let you support advanced surgical care in a hospital environment known for a Level II trauma center and a collaborative perioperative team. You will prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures, assist surgeons and staff, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program, certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent operating room experience. Proficiency in EMR systems is essential. Recommended skills include strong communication, attention to aseptic technique, equipment troubleshooting, and teamwork.
