Join the Surgical Team in Enchanting Roswell!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse (Periop RN) to join a dynamic surgical services team for a 6-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment and works collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support excellent surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
• Monitor patient condition and respond effectively to emergencies or changes in status
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and procedural standards
• Promote patient-centered care and service excellence

Requirements:
• Active RN License (Compact or Georgia License preferred)
• BLS Certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Perioperative or direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Schedule & Additional Details:
• Day Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Three call shifts per month required
• One 24-hour weekend call per month required
• 6-week contract assignment
