The 276 bed acute care hospital is located just miles from the shoreline of Virginia Beach and specializes in orthopedics, neurosurgery, thoracic and colorectal surgery and sleep disorders. Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is one of the region’s accredited stroke centers and includes a Level III Trauma Center. Nursing structures include a Nurse Residency Program for new grads, shared governance councils, nursing research and a commitment to lifelong learning.
