MO - Sterile Processing Tech - Nights - 40 hours

Performs a variety of Sterile Processing functions, which include the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of sterile surgical instrumentation to the OR and other areas throughout the hospital. Required to maintain and control both sterile and non-sterile supplies and identify and remedy equipment and process failures and hazards while maintaining the appropriate and complete records. Shift: 5x8s, 40 hours/week, 2300-0730, rotating weekends - every 3rd week No call Must have high school diploma or equivalent and CRCST Minimum 1 year experience in field and traveling Responsibilities Assembles and processes instruments sets, trays, supplies and linen; prioritizes trays and tasks according to the surgery schedule. Utilizes and troubleshoots steam sterilizers. Follows proper techniques and procedures to ensure the integrity of the sterilization process. Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation according to manufacturer and industry standards. Ensures instrumentation is reassembled correctly and functioning properly. Preforms Other Responsibilities as Assigned
