We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses to provide care to the detention adult & juvenile patient population. Outpatient clinic is open Monday thru Friday from 9 to 9.
Our Psych Nurse will be expected to pass medications to the juveniles in the juvie facility as well as seeing them for sick call, intake assessments, and addressing any medical concerns they may have. They will start and end their shifts at the juvie facility. Once they have finished their morning tasks at Juvie, they will go to the adult facility (11 miles away – the county provides a car for them). There, they will round on all patients in the mental health units and act as Liaison between the county mental health staff and our mental health staff, they will do discharge planning and monthly mental health CQIs.
Compensation is $45/hour plus benefits package.
One year minimum treating both children & adults
Unrestricted RN license from any compact state
Basic Life Support (BLS)
