Requirements:
• CA License

Responsibilities:
• Complete mental health evaluations of patients who are newly incarcerated within the facility.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to patients as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case documentation and records.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referral to other specialists.
• Prepare reports and correspondence on evaluation status and case recommendations as needed.
• Consult with other practitioners and related staff, as appropriate in the performance of therapeutic duties and/or casework.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
