Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology (GYN ONC)
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Local Radius Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles

Job Summary:
The Travel Oncology RN provides specialized nursing care to gynecologic oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and related cancer treatments. The nurse is responsible for administering chemotherapy, monitoring for adverse reactions, managing symptoms, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct care to oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or supportive treatments.

Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy according to established protocols and safety standards.

Assess and document patient condition, response to therapy, and side effects.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and post-treatment care.

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, infection control, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Georgia (in good standing).

Minimum of 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience required.

Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association).

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required (ONS or equivalent).

BSN and OCN certification preferred.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Assignment Details:

13-week travel contract

Day shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
