Unit Based Orientation: (Preceptor, Co-worker, None) Precpetor for 3 shifts
Nursing Assisant Support (Yes / No): LPN/Aide/Secretary Yes we have NSTs on the floor
Common Patient Diagnosis: Sickle Cell, Lymphomas, Leukemias, Solid Tumor Cancers, ESRD, DKA
Minimum years of experience required (exclude school clinicals) 2
Are ventilators are used: Respiratory Therapists on unit? Available? No
Required Drips / Medications: Morphine PCA, Heavy on pain management, IV antibiotics
Basic Certifications Required (BLS, ACLS, PALS etc.) BLS

Unit: 10A Hem-Oncology Service (PCU Level of Care).
- Patient Ratio: 1:5.
- Details: 40-bed unit; common diagnoses include Sickle Cell, Oncology, ESRD, and DKA. Floating may be required.
- Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs.
