JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Acute Care Certified (ACNP) required for NP candidates; PA must have valid national certification
* Licenses: Active Georgia state license required (local candidate preferred)
* Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as an APP in an ICU setting
* Other Qualifications: Case logs for central and arterial line procedures may be required for credentialing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
* Collaborate with attending physicians on plan of care and communicate dynamic changes
* Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
* Complete order entry and documentation (H&Ps, Consults, Event/Follow-up Notes, Procedure Notes) using Cerner EMR
* Perform invasive procedures including central and arterial line insertions
