Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide standby/school-based nursing support at a school in Maryland. The ideal candidate will support program-level nursing needs and provide care to eligible students within a designated program or health room setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Maryland RN license

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications

• Pediatric, school nursing, or private duty nursing experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed

• Assess and triage health complaints, injuries, and incidents

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor and document health conditions in MCPS health record systems

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked health room environment

• Communicate with students, parents/guardians, school staff, and health care providers

• Participate in emergency preparedness drills and protocols

• Any other duties as assigned within scope
