JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Board: BC preferred/BE
* Licenses: Licensed in MI
* Certifications: PALS, NRP
* Experience: Level III NICU experience preferred
* Other Qualifications: Proficient in intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, ventilator management (oscillators and iNO)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide 24-hour in-house and on-call coverage for Level III NICU
* Manage neonates with respiratory distress, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, and other complex conditions
* Perform necessary procedures including intubation, line placement, and spinal taps
* Stabilize and coordinate transport for surgical cases
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RNs, RTs, and consulting specialists
