Critical Care Float Pool (RN-ICU Float)

We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse for a contract. As this is a dedicated float pool position, candidates must be flexible and comfortable floating to multiple high-acuity environments across the hospital, including the ICU, IMCU, ED (holding ICU patients), and lower-acuity Medical-Surgical units when required.

• Job Title: Critical Care FLOAT (Nursing)
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Candidate Policy: Open to both local and travel candidates.
• Floating Framework: Mandatory Floating. Must be willing to float to the Emergency Department (holds), ICU, and IMCU. Additionally, candidates must be willing to float to Med-Surg (MS) and manage a patient assignment of patients if hospital volume demands it.
• Specialty Equipment Utilized: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Targeted Temperature Management).
• EMR System: Epic

Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU experience.
• Travel Criteria: Prior travel nurse experience is strictly required for travel applicants.
• Licensure: Active New York (NY) RN license must be in hand at the time of profile submission.
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
