Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (RN-ICU)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Travel or Local Registered Nurse to join the intensive care team. This is a contract in a high-acuity, ICU environment. The facility is highly prioritizing candidates with strong cardiovascular/heart experience who are proficient in advanced specialty equipment like CRRT.

Position Details
• Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (RN-ICU)
• Candidate Policy: Open to both local and travel candidates
• Specialty Equipment: CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), IABP, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun).

Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU). 4–5 years of experience is highly preferred.
• Travel Criteria: Prior travel nurse experience is strictly required for travel applicants.
• Specialized Skills: Must have hands-on experience with CRRT and Prismaflex. Heart/CTICU experience is a top priority for the manager.
• EMR System: EPIC experience is required.
• Licensure: Active New York (NY) RN license (plus all other active state licenses verified via NURSYS).
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS.
