Physical Therapy Assistant

Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide on-site therapy services for a School in Sarasota County, Florida.

The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical therapy assistant shall have a valid School Physical Therapy Assistant License issued by the State of Florida.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience participating in IEP meetings.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience writing therapy goals for IEPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Physical therapy assistant shall provide the day-to-day applied therapy and teacher support under the direction of the physical therapist.
