REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have PALS
* Must have Peds experience
* 2+ years of experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* 9 bed ICU, ratio 2pts to 1 nurse unless 1:1 is indicated.
* Potential for Med/surg overflows then up to 3 to 4 pts per nurse.
* 12 hr day or night shifts.
* Schedule is 72 hrs every two weeks.
* Adult ICU although on occasion will have stable pediatric patients, unstable pediatrics are transferred to higher level of care.
* Minimum of three nurses on each shift.
* Additional $2.00 per hour if assigned to charge nurse duties.
* May float to other departments to help (not take a team of patients) if needed.
