REQUIREMENTS:

* Current State Licensure
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy, or a Master's degree in SLPs.
* Must comply with certification and licensure prerequisites set by state and national board associations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead and guide the rehab team, including PTs, OTs, and SLPs.
* Cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
* Oversee rehab services to ensure they meet established protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.
* Collaborate with therapists to assess patient needs, create treatment plans, and track progress.
* Recruit, train, and manage rehab staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support their development.
* Develop and implement tailored rehab programs and strategies to meet patient needs.
* Stay updated on industry trends and evidence-based practices to improve program effectiveness.
* Monitor and maintain quality assurance, meeting regulatory standards and patient safety.
* Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals like physicians, nurses, and social workers for holistic patient care.
* Manage the rehab department budget efficiently, optimizing resources for quality care.
* Ensure precise and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and activities.
* Uphold compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
