REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois; BLS and ACLS certification required.
* PALS, ENPC, TNCC and/or TNS preferred.
* 1+ years of experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
* Evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through ER.
* Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
* Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
* Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
