JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 5/4/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2320.00 - $2464.00

This outstanding unit is looking for the right RN to join their team of compassionate and driven health care professionals. Join this highly motivated team of caregivers and enjoy a challenging and welcoming environment based on optimal patient care. As a PCU RN, you will provide continuous monitoring and frequent assessments, manage telemetry, administer and titrate IV medications within PCU scope, and coordinate care with physicians and an interdisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families, participate in bedside rounds, and document care using an electronic medical record system. Patient ratios are designed to support safe, higher-acuity care, typically around 1:3 or 1:4 depending on patient condition and unit standards. The unit offers modern equipment, telemetry capabilities, and a collaborative environment with strong support from leadership and colleagues. Shifts are generally 12 hours with day, night, and weekend options depending on current staffing needs. There are opportunities to participate in shared governance, quality projects, and professional development, including support for specialty certifications and advancement within the organization.

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in entire work history
