Adelphi is seeking a Psychologist to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will conduct psychological assessments and provide therapy and rehabilitation services to promote the mental well-being of incarcerated individuals within the facility.

Requirements:
• Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
• California License
• BLS

Responsibilities:
• Conduct and administer psychological tests and assessments.
• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals and groups with a wide range of psychological and substance use disorders.
• Gather, evaluate and interpret psychological and statistical data.
• Select, administer, score and interpret a wide variety of objective and projective tests (i.e. intelligence, personality, cognitive, aptitude and behavioral).
• Administer discharge planning and provide case management for the mentally ill and substance using clients.
• Engage clients in discharge planning and develop a viable plan of self-care according to client's level of psychological functioning.
• Analyze factors that contribute to overall health problems and/or recidivism.
• Recognize factors that are outside of mental health that could be impacting the clients overall functioning and refer appropriately.
• Respond efficiently to mental health emergencies.
• Administer latest trends and evidence-based psychological treatment and assessment protocols.
• Any other duties as assigned.
