JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)
StartDate: 11/9/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1642.00 - $1726.00

Job Summary: -Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. -Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. -Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. -Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. -Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. -Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. -Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. -Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. -Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.

Required Qualifications
Surgical Technologist, OR

Preferred Qualifications
ACLS, PALS
Epic experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.
-Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus.
