Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Department nursing for a 13-week contract in Cumming, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have recent emergency nursing experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to provide safe, effective care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities
Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a variety of emergency conditions.
Provide timely nursing interventions and patient-centered care.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Monitor patient responses, document assessments, and communicate changes in condition.
Maintain patient safety and follow infection prevention and emergency care protocols.

Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
Current PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with a variable schedule.
Flexibility to float to other units if needed.
Ability to complete all compliance requirements before the start date.
