This position requires expertise in both chronic disease management and urgent care procedures, as the clinician will manage 10-15 patients daily while working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements. The nurse practitioner must be comfortable treating a wide range of conditions from routine primary care to acute urgent care situations, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
