JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $2053.00 - $2180.00

Senior Surgical Technologist provides advanced level technical assistance to the surgical team before, during and following surgery. Expertly assists in surgical operations under the supervision of the surgeons and registered nurses to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, the equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Special skills or experience needed: " Comparable to a Level 1 Trauma designated operating room " Must be competent in the following: " Emergency neuro (crani's and spine) " Eyes " Endo-Vascular " ENT " General trauma (gunshots/stabbings) " Plastics " Robotics " Ortho (regular and trauma) " Minimum five years of experience Required certifications: " Current BLS certification obtained through American Heart Association. " Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)

Surgical Technologist, OR
Experience: 5 years Required
Certifications: BLS(Copy needed); CERT-NBSTSA- CST(Copy needed)

NBSTSA ST Certification (firm)
BLS (AHA)
5 years CST Experience
Experience from a Level I Trauma Center
Must be competent in, but not limited to, eyes, robotics, endo-vascular, ENT, Plastics.
