Registered Nurse (RN III) – Operating Room in Atlanta, GA (no local candidates withing 50 miles.

Overview:
The Staff RN III is an experienced, competent registered nurse who provides safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients and families. As part of the Nursing Excellence Track (NEXT), the RN III practices independently, demonstrates advanced clinical judgment, and serves as a preceptor and leader within the care team.

Responsibilities:

Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process.

Demonstrates clinical competency and adapts to complex and changing conditions.

Utilizes evidence-based guidelines and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Operates patient care technology safely and effectively.

Mentors new staff and contributes to professional development.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Active RN license in the State of Georgia (in good standing).

Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience post-orientation/residency.

BLS certification (AHA required; ACLS/NRP/PALS as unit-specific).

Preferred:

BSN degree and/or national certification in clinical specialty.
